Who I am, What I’ve done, and What I can do…

Who I am:

  • I am a visionary. I see what can be achieved, the story that can be told, and multiple ways to present the vision.

  • I am a planner. I can see the roadmap, what steps to take, and how to get to the goal. Much of what makes a successful event, show, or project is in the set-up and pre-planning. Those moves set the tone for how the show will go.

  • I am an executor. I know how to make it happen. And if I don’t know, I can figure it out.

  • I am an encourager. My team is the life of any show or project. Without their work, things simply don’t happen. I always do my best to encourage those on my team without micromanaging. Everyone has a specific talent and passion that they bring to the table, and I want those to shine including the person who carries them.

  • I am a leader. With integrity, I can guide, instruct, and inspire those who come along for the ride. I know how to achieve a goal, and I strive to pass along my knowledge, direction, and skill to those on my team. Enthusiasm and kindness are my mottos as a leader. If you can’t be kind, you can’t have an army behind you to support you.

  • I am a partner and a team player. No one can do it alone. I believe there is strength in numbers, and power in a group who has a shared vision. Brainstorming is one of my favorite things to do. The work is better with a team, a business partner, or a group of people with a good attitude. Let’s get in the game together!

What I do:

  • I produce. Whether it’s content, media, events, or live shows, I know how to take a budget or written directive, get it on its feet, and turn it into a successful show or project. I know how to hire the right people, bring on efficient vendors, and assemble a team that is joyfully working towards a shared goal or vision. I also bring a creative mind to the process to assist with telling compelling stories and brand messaging with which audiences will connect.

  • I call the shots and take charge. In the midst of meeting quick deadlines, putting out constant fires, trying to beat a ticking clock that never slows down, and finding the right path to manage challenges that are thrown in the way, I always find a way to make a careful, yet prompt decision. I do what is best for the project or show and take the reigns on leading the team with a calm demeanor and focused mentality.

  • I set achievable expectations and positive standards. It is always important for the leader or producer to set the tone and establish the rhythm for productive workflow. On a regular basis, I strive to bring out the best work in my teams and encourage top-level achievements. I not only expect great work and positive attitudes, but I also exemplify those same expectations to build a strong work foundation that produces excellent results.

  • I make it happen. I find a way to do anything. Even if I don’t know the answer, I will find it. My type-A personality drives my desire to get things done efficiently and with the utmost attention to detail. If you can dream it, I can do it.

  • I solve problems. In my career, there have been so many challenges I’ve encountered where I walk into a situation that needs to be addressed and a problem that needs to be solved, quickly. I am able to connect the dots in the spur of the moment and figure out how to solve the problem with the best possible course of action.

The client connection is important.

To me, the most important part of creating any experience or working on any project is the client relationship. These relationships are built on trust, respect, and an understanding of each person’s role throughout the entire process. It is the part I love the most in what I do.

Having fun lightens the load.

Creating a guest experience or trying to achieve a goal can be stressful on many key players throughout the process. A sense of humor always makes the work more enjoyable. I strive to be enjoyable to work with and create a place where everyone involved feels important and appreciated.
